Job summary

Wilsonart in Texas operates a fast-paced sheet processing unit. This role transfers sheeted material to the deco racks, performs inventory adjustments, verifies run accuracy, and cuts dry decorative patterns to size with emphasis on quality.

You will collaborate with teammates to address issues, participate in Lean and Safety processes, and ensure ISO and Oracle procedures are followed. Heavy lifting and precise work are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate equipment including globe lift, super cutter, and cut down table.
• Ability to read production schedules and follow directions precisely.
• Knowledge of safety standards and inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate inventory transactions and counts for inventory accuracy.
• Determines if material must be upsized or cut to size and coordinates with Team Lead.
• Coordinates with Team Lead to ensure items are sheeted or changed out as needed.
• Operates equipment to move pallets, reorganize deco inventory and transport runs without press downtime.
• Inspects material for pattern defects and verifies finish designations.
