Job summary

Leisnoi, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Declassification Analyst to support the National Archives and Records Administration at College Park and Fort Meade, MD. The role involves reviewing historical and technical documents under government contracts to safeguard national security information while ensuring transparency.

You will work with secure databases, apply DoD directives, and coordinate with SMEs to fulfill DISA requests, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active TS or DOE Q clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex historical, technical, or military documents.
• Familiarity with EO 13526, FOIA & Privacy Act, and the Kyl-Lott Amendment.
• Must hold HRRDR Certification.
• Strong computer skills including navigating secure databases and redaction software.
• Experience with the Records Management Database System (RMDB).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate historical records against classification/declassification guides to determine reclassification or declassification.
• Identify and tag documents containing Restricted Data (RD) and Formerly Restricted Data (FRD).
• Implement classification marking decisions based on DoD directives.
• Input metadata, review statuses, and redaction notes into secure databases.
• Collaborate with SMEs to support requests from DISA.
• Improve digital declassification workflows and provide IT feedback on software functionality.
• Manage inventories of classified material and maintain control registers.
• Provide formal status reports with metrics and milestones.
