IQUASAR LLC seeks a Declassification Reviewer to support NARA in the thorough review and declassification of 25-year-old records, ensuring compliance with EO 13526 and related directives.

Responsibilities include page-by-page reviews, timely referrals, inter-agency coordination, and LLSS/DDSS updates, with a target of 20,000 reviews per year and a 95% accuracy rate, while maintaining zero security infractions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Agency Automatic Declassification reviews and referrals for 25-year-old permanent records held at the NARA facility.
• Perform timely, accurate, and legally compliant page-by-page declassification reviews in accordance with EO 13526.
• Provide a substantive response to all referrals within 60 days as required by EO 13526, section 3.3(d).
• Refer records containing information originated from other agencies to those agencies for review.
• Receive documents from NARA personnel and refer for declassification of Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data.
• Assist in meeting a minimum annual average of 20,000 reviews with 95% accuracy and zero security infractions.
• Identify, locate, retrieve, and label records after review.
• Deliver a fully updated Declassification Guide (40–50 pages) and incorporate feedback.
• Update the Document Declassification Support System (DDSS) weekly and provide Monthly Status Reports.

Job Description

Support NARA in the Declassification of documents by conducting Agency Automatic Declassification reviews and referrals.

Perform timely, accurate, and legally compliant page-by-page declassification reviews of the CLIENT's 25-year-old permanent records held at the NARA facility, ensuring adherence to the requirements of Executive Order (EO) 13526.

Provide a substantive response to all referrals to the CLIENT within 60 days, in compliance with EO 13526, section 3.3(d).

Refer all records containing information that originated from other agencies, or the disclosure of which would affect the interest or activities of another agency, to that agency for review.

Receive documents to be reviewed from NARA personnel and make referrals for declassification of Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data within and between DoD components.

Assist in meeting a minimum annual average of record reviews of 20,000 records, maintaining a 95 percent accuracy rate with zero security infractions.

Identify, locate, retrieve, and properly label records after review.

Deliver a fully updated draft of the Declassification Guide (approximately 40-50 pages) and incorporate feedback.

Update the Document Declassification Support System (DDSS) weekly and provide Monthly Status Reports.

Qualifications

Mandatory Certification: Must have passed the Department of Energy, Historical Records Restricted Data Reviewers (HRRDR) course.

Must be trained in recognizing restricted information.

Deep understanding of Executive Order (EO) 13526, Classified National Security Information.

Physical ability to perform duties in cold temperature Cold Storage (ranging from 35°F and 40°F) and Cool Storage (around 60°F).

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and ensure the integrity of the contents of each archival box remains intact.

Must have a Secret clearance.
