The role requires extensive supervisory and second-level management experience in shipbuilding and a US citizenship with a secret clearance. Responsibilities include coaching on staging, task ownership, and progress reporting, plus ensuring tools and instructions

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Supervisory experience in an industrial shipbuilding/ship maintenance environment.
• Minimum 5 years of 2nd level management experience in an industrial shipbuilding/ship maintenance environment.
• Degree requirements: None
• Must be a US Citizen and hold a Secret security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Coach supervisor to ensure work is properly staged and communicated to workers.
• Set clear expectations and drive progress in half-shift increments.
• Ensure backup tasks are defined and ready if primary tasks fall behind.
• Monitor barriers and progress and communicate half‑shift updates.
• Support supervisors to achieve target time on task and productivity.
• Ensure site conditions, tools, and equipment are prepared for work.
• Spend at least 4 hours a day on deckplate and be present.
