Lindus Construction, Inc./Midwest LeafGuard is seeking a Decking Installation Technician to install footings, decking, railings, framing and trim, and to remove old materials on job sites. Most work is in MN with some travel to the WI corporate office. Compensation is commissioned-based and designed to reward performance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in carpentry/finish trades, with a valid driver’s license. This is a direct hire, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Decking and/or carpentry experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• W-2 employment only, no 1099/subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Install footings, decking, railings, framing and trim.
• Remove old decking, railings and framing materials.
• Repair or replace rotten framing, siding, flashing or adjoining material.
• Finish surfaces of footings, decking, railing or skirting.

Decking Installation Technician – Construction Essential Functions & Duties

• Perform all relative tasks to install footings, decking, railings, framing, trim or hardware
• Removing old decking, railings and framing materials
• Repairing or replacing rotten or damaged framing, siding, flashing or any adjoining material
• Finishing surfaces of footings, decking, railing, or skirting

Decking Installation Technician – Construction Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in carpentry/finish trade.
• Equivalent education, training and/or related work experience

Direct hire only (no contract/1099).

Location

Please note while our corporate office is based in WI, the majority of the work for this role will take place in MN. As such we advertise around the area to attract qualified candidates in proximity to where the work is primarily performed.

• Regular daily travel to our WI office is not required. However, there will be occasions when travel to the corporate office will be necessary for meetings, training, or other business needs. Candidates should be comfortable with periodic travel to our Baldwin, WI location.

Pay Structure

Compensation for this position is commissioned based. This role is designed to reward performance, meaning earning potential can significantly exceed a traditional hourly position.
