Job summary

Fence & Deck Depot is seeking a Lead Deck Installer to support our deck field crews across the greater St. Louis area. This full-time, year-round outdoor role focuses on residential and commercial deck installations and requires outdoor leadership and hands-on work.

Responsibilities include laying out jobs, managing crews, loading materials, reading blueprints, and daily progress reporting to the Production Manager. Occasional Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with power tools (circular saws and drills).
• Carpentry experience.
• Familiar with permits / inspections.
• Enjoy working outdoors.
• Good communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Deck experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Concrete pouring/finishing preferred but not required.

We at Fence & Deck Depot are seeking an experienced craftsman to join our team as a Lead Deck Installer. This position supports our deck field crews across the greater St. Louis area. This is a full-time, year-round outdoor role focusing on deck installations for residential and commercial projects.

Duties And Responsbilities

• Laying out jobs
• Managing job operations, delegating tasks and managing crew.
• Loading and unloading materials
• Digging holes and using shovels
• Using basic hand tools (tape measures, hammers, speed square)
• Using basic power tools (circular saws, nail guns, drills, impact screw gun).
• Reading a level
• Driving vehicles
• Daily reporting on job progress and production issues to Production Manager
• Working occasionally on Saturdays

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Being able to lift up to 80 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Performing activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Compensation And Benefits

• $34-$39/hour DOE. After the training period is complete, the potential to earn $70k-$80k per year.
