Qualifications

• Willingness to be trained and coachable.
• At least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must pass a 3-day deckhand orientation class.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s license.
• Able to work various hours/holidays/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Secure barges together and assist with navigation.
• Maintain the vessel and ensure overall safety.
• Perform minor engine room work and general boat cleaning.
• Keep maintenance logs and grocery orders.
