Job summary

Turn Services is seeking motivated Deckhands to help keep America’s waterways moving. Location: Multiple Locations. Pay: $200-$240 per day. Schedule: 2-for-1 rotation. Prior push boat experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities include building and breaking tow, securing boats and barges, line handling and rigging, keeping watches, and general vessel upkeep. Candidates must have a TWIC card, valid driver’s license, and be able to work holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• TWIC card (must maintain)
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Minimum age: 18
• Ability to work holidays/weekends and adapt to changing schedules

Responsibilities

• Building and breaking tow
• Securing boats and barges
• Line handling and rigging
• Standing lookout watches
• General vessel upkeep (cleaning, cooking, painting, chipping)
• Minor engine room tasks (oil changes, greasing, filter changes)
• Additional duties as directed by the Captain or Mate
