Job summary

US Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, Water Resources Division, Floating Plant Section, seeks a deckhand to support operations on a crewed derrick boat, crane barge, patrol vessels and survey vessels in protected and unprotected waters spanning the Atlantic Ocean, Chesapeake Bay, James River and Dismal Swamp Canal.

The role covers hands-on support for floating plant operations, including line handling, mooring, and equipment maintenance, to enable project work across multiple waterways
