Job summary

Cook Systems in the United States seeks a skilled Decision Support Systems (DSS) Analyst to work with customers and design teams to prioritize data and information requirements, translating these into actionable DSS/EIS applications using appropriate reporting tools.

You will model data sources, ensure security, monitor performance, mentor juniors, and participate in evaluating new products, delivering solutions that support strategic business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in CS/IS or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems.
• Proficiency in process and data modeling, DSS architecture, and tools.
• Knowledge of development life cycle methodologies and IT planning methodologies.
• Extensive understanding of enterprise data and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and design teams to prioritize data requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain Decision Support Systems (DSS).
• Model data sources and flows, and work with data management staff to define and implement DSS and EIS policies and security frameworks.
• Monitor system performance and implement changes to optimize performance.
• Participate in the selection and evaluation of new products and technologies.
• Support the user community and development team in designing, developing, and maintaining DSS/EIS applications.
• Identify and recommend technology solutions for business challenges.
• Work on multiple projects of medium technological complexity, sometimes leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
