Job summary

Cook Systems is seeking a Data Systems Manager to bridge business and IT leadership, identify critical information needs, and steer DSS and EIS initiatives. The role emphasizes aligning technology with corporate strategy and prioritizing diverse business needs.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in IT with data warehouse & DSS/EIS experience and strong data modeling, architecture, and project management skills. On-site role with opportunity for growth and impactful work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years IT experience including leading DSS/EIS & data warehouse efforts.
• Mid-level management experience in data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between business and IT leadership to identify and prioritize information needs.
• Manage the Decision Support staff to ensure DSS and EIS development and support.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define information needs and assess current systems and tech capabilities.
• Lead research, evaluation and selection of new technologies for business needs.
• Conduct cost and feasibility studies to support technology decisions.
• Ensure effective project management processes and deliver quality, timely solutions.
