Job summary

Cook Systems is seeking a skilled DSS Analyst to partner with customers and design teams, prioritizing data requirements and translating them into actionable DSS/EIS applications. You will design, develop, and maintain DSS, while ensuring security and data governance across initiatives.

With a focus on enterprise data and decision processes, you will lead projects, mentor juniors, and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful BI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems.
• Proficiency in process and data modeling, DSS architecture, and tools.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and IT planning methodologies.
• Extensive understanding of enterprise data and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and design teams to prioritize data requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain Decision Support Systems (DSS).
• Model data sources and flows; define DSS and EIS policies and security.
• Monitor performance and optimize; participate in evaluating new technologies.
• Support users and development teams in DSS/EIS applications.
• Identify and recommend technology solutions for business challenges.
• Lead projects and mentor junior team members on medium-complexity work.
