Cook Systems is seeking an experienced Data Systems Manager to act as a liaison between business and IT leadership. This role identifies business-critical information, manages the Decision Support staff, and ensures that DSS and EIS align with business priorities.

The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of corporate strategies and have the ability to manage and prioritize diverse business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or business.
• 7+ years IT experience with data warehousing, DSS, and EIS.
• Experience in middle-level management within the data warehouse.
• Strong data modeling, architecture, and IT planning skills.
• Knowledge of enterprise data and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between business and IT leadership to identify information needs.
• Manage the Decision Support staff to develop and support DSS and EIS.
• Work with business leaders to define critical information needs and assess systems.
• Lead research, evaluation, and selection of new technologies.
• Conduct cost and feasibility studies to support technology decisions.
• Ensure project management processes enable timely, quality solutions.
