The role involves moving and parking vehicles, keeping the lot clean, and assisting Service Advisors. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required; prior valet experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
• Help with loaner vehicles and park vehicles after they have been written up.
• Install disposable protective coverings and tags in vehicles brought in for service.
• Deliver keys and repair orders to the Service Advisor after parking.
• Retrieve vehicles for customers when they are picking up and thank them for their business.
• Maintain a clean and safe service area with general cleaning duties.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for an outgoing and dependable individual to greet our valued customers arriving at our service department. The Valet / Porter will welcome customers and ensure a smooth transition to a Service Advisor by confirming appointments and obtaining basic information about the reason for the customer’s visit. In addition, he or she will move customer vehicles in and around the lot and service areas, ensure vehicles are kept in a clean and damage free manner, and help with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot areas.

The ideal candidate has an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, a positive attitude and professional appearance, and great communication skills. Candidates must be willing and able to work in a non-climate controlled environment that includes enduring the heat of summer and the cold of winter and must be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles. Experience as a valet and/or knowledge of automotive servicing and repair is a plus.

We are looking for someone with great customer service skills and the ability to put our customer's at ease and make their experience with Greenway Mazda top notch!

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions and/or directing them to the appropriate person or location
• Helps with loaner vehicles and parks vehicles after they have been written up
• Installs disposable protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service
• Delivers keys and repair order to the appropriate Service Advisor after parking vehicle
• Retrieves vehicles for customers when picking up, waiting at the vehicle and thanking customers for their business
• Help maintain a clean and safe service area by performing general cleaning duties (trash removal, sweeping, etc.)
• Follows all safety and security procedures
