Greenway Automotive’s Decatur Hyundai in Decatur, AL is seeking an outgoing Valet / Porter to greet customers and help ensure a smooth transition to a Service Advisor. You will move vehicles, park and deliver keys, and keep the lot clean and organized.

The role requires an unrestricted driver's license, a professional appearance, and strong customer service skills. Training and opportunities for growth are available, with competitive pay and full benefits including health, retirement, and paid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Must have unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic computer and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions and directing them to the appropriate person or location.
• Help with loaner vehicles and park vehicles after they have been written up.
• Install disposable protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tag in all vehicles brought in for service.
• Deliver keys and repair order to the appropriate Service Advisor after parking vehicle.
• Retrieve vehicles for customers when picking up, waiting at the vehicle and thanking customers for their business.
• Help maintain a clean and safe service area by performing general cleaning duties (trash removal, sweeping, etc.).
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
