Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Understanding of cruise line operations, especially technical/engineering, environmental, or nautical operations.
• Knowledge of vessel operations, energy management, and shipping decarbonization preferred.
• Familiarity with environmental frameworks and regulatory affairs within maritime industry.
• Experience in cruise line itinerary planning is a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills with data access/manipulation from various sources.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to structure quantitative analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently in cross‑functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support decarbonization strategy development with port operations, itinerary planning, and technical/marine ops.
• Assist development and assessment of viable itineraries for ships facing Carbon Intensity Index constraints.
• Monitor regulatory landscape and industry actions related to environmental changes.
• Support financial estimates of decarbonization impact, including CII compliance and carbon tax exposure.
• Contribute to data science, analytics, and digitalization initiatives for energy efficiency and emissions reductions.
• Manage itinerary planning for select small regions (N. Europe, Northeast).
• Coordinate itinerary changes with deployment operations and secure approvals across departments.
• Assist continuous improvement of deployment planning processes and tools.
