Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in Massachusetts seeks a Deburring Operator to set up and adjust tooling for Deburring/Tapping machines. You will train operators, inspect products, and ensure quality across production runs.

The role involves reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced environment. Onsite work, with competitive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Set Up all assigned Deburring/Tapping department machines and processes to company specifications.
• Understand the assembly and machine operations process and the movement of completed components.
• Produce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis.
• Produce the required quantity of product according to required output specifications.
• Use computers as required.
• Use measuring tools as required.
• Read and understand Blueprints.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
• Operate all hand tools, machines and equipment successfully as required and with minimal supervision.
• Work as a productive team member who contributes to the organizations’ success.
• Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and complete tasks without instruction.
• Demonstrate dependability with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Performs Set Up duties to ready Deburring/Tapping machines and processes for production.
• Installs, adjusts, changes, and aligns tooling and equipment to ready operations for production.
• Works from schedules and instructions to analyze machine and process problems and determine solutions.
• Facilitates engineering changes to products and processes using the quality program.
• Monitors processes and recommends improvements to increase productivity and quality.
• Ensures materials are available at machines and of proper quality during all production phases.
• Executes inspection methods to start a job and performs periodic quality checks.
• Trains operators in proper inspection techniques.
• Maintains equipment and keeps work areas clean and orderly.
• Instructs and assists operators in setup, operation, and documentation.
• Reports and prevents malfunctions and material discrepancies; supports corrective actions.
• Plans ahead to ensure smooth transitions to the next job and timely paperwork.
