Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Deburring Operator to set up and adjust deburring and tapping machines, ensuring production readiness and quality. The role may involve leading in the absence of leads or supervisors and training other operators.

You will work from schedules, manage tooling changes, and ensure materials and documentation are properly prepared for each job. A strong emphasis on safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Set up assigned Deburring/Tapping machines to company specs.
• Understand assembly and machine operations processes.
• Produce high-quality product to required specifications consistently.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Operate hand tools, machines and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate dependability with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust Deburring/Tapping machines and processes for production.
• Install, adjust, change, and align tooling and equipment for operations.
• Analyze machine/process problems and implement solutions.
• Follow quality program changes and document actions.
• Monitor processes and suggest productivity/quality improvements.
• Maintain materials at machines and ensure proper quality and availability.
• Perform inspections to approve work and conduct periodic quality checks.
• Assist operators with training and proper inspection techniques.
• Help maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment.
• Provide instructions in setup/operation and documentation.
• Report malfunctions and participate in corrective actions.
• Plan ahead to ensure smooth transitions between jobs.
• Complete paperwork timely and accurately.
• May train new employees in absence of lead or supervisor.
