Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Deburring Operator to set up and adjust tooling for Deburring/Tapping machines, ensuring production readiness and quality standards. The role may involve supervising in the absence of leads and training other staff.

You will work on site in a manufacturing environment, with responsibilities spanning from setup through inspection and coordination of materials to support smooth production flows.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred.
• Set Up all assigned Deburring/Tapping department machines and processes to company specifications.
• Understand the assembly and machine operations process and the movement of completed components.
• Produce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis.
• Produce the required quantity of product according to required output specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs Set Up duties to ready Deburring/Tapping machines and processes for production.
• Installs, adjusts, changes, and aligns tooling and equipment to ready operations for production.
• Works from schedules and instructions to analyze machine and process problems and determine solutions.
• Monitors processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity and assure quality.
• Ensures materials are available at machines and workstations in quality and quantity.
• Performs periodic quality checks to ensure standards are met.
• Assists operators with training on proper techniques of product inspection.
• Maintains equipment and keeps work areas clean and orderly.
• Trains new employees when needed and answers questions in absence of lead.
