Job summary

Enjet Aero is seeking a deburring operator for 2nd or 3rd shift in Bloomfield, CT. You will set up and run deburring equipment and related tools to meet production deadlines, while reading operation sheets and blueprints with accuracy.

The role includes paperwork, collaboration with team members, and performing other duties as assigned by supervision. This position emphasizes attention to detail, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive attitude in a deadline-driven, customer-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; CNC education is preferred.
• 1+ years of work experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate deburring equipment, pneumatic tools, pencil grinders and Dremel-style tools with minimal supervision.
• Produce at standard and quality levels per company requirements.
• Read operation sheets and blueprints accurately.
• Complete paperwork related to counts, scrap, time according to company policies.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors and staff.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Position Description:

Set-up and operate various types of deburring equipment under the direction of the area supervisor. 2nd shift position (Mon-Fri 330pm-12pm) receives a 20% shift differential. 3rd shift (Mon-Fri 1030pm-7am) receives 25% shift differential.

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various types of deburring equipment, pneumatic tools, pencil grinders and Dremel style tools in the area with minimal supervision.
• Produces at standard and quality levels in accordance with the company's requirements.
• Able to read operation sheets and blueprints
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time etc. according to the company's policies.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff
• Other duties as directed by supervisor
