Job summary

Enjet Aero, LLC in Sullivan, Missouri, is seeking a CNC Machinist for the weekend DAY shift (Fri–Sun, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM) with a 36-hour schedule plus a 4-hour bonus and a 25% shift differential.

You will read blueprints/GD&T, change tools and offsets, document SPC data, and collaborate with programming to improve production while upholding strict quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CNC machine operation.
• Read and understand blueprints and GD&T
• Experience with changing tools, performing offsets and quality checks on parts
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operator lathes with live milling
• Use precision measuring tools to check and inspect to close tolerance requirements
• Document SPC and inspection results precisely
• Ability to modify tooling and fixtures as needed
• Advise supervisor and programming team of technical advancements to increase production
• Operate machines to produce production runs of parts
• Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System
• Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff
• Other duties as directed by supervisor

Position Description

The CNC Machinist performs detailed machine setups, CNC programming, machine process improvement and troubleshooting, and produces machined parts. The position is for WEEKEND Days shift - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM; working 36 hours and receiving a 4-hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, also includes a 25% shift differential.
