Job summary

5th Axis Inc. is seeking an experienced Deburr & Finish Lead to drive quality on the production floor. This hands-on leadership role blends advanced deburring, finishing and assembly work with daily workflow coordination and team development.

You will train, mentor, and support the Deburr & Finish team while ensuring compliance with drawings, travelers, and quality standards. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in deburring, finishing, machining, or related production roles.
• Ability to read drawings, travelers, and work instructions.
• Experience training and supervising other workers.
• Hands-on lead with strong quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced deburring, finishing, assembly tasks.
• Coordinate daily workflow and assign work.
• Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance.
• Monitor production status and communicate with management.
• Ensure adherence to drawings and quality standards.
• Support safety and housekeeping.
