Job summary

Lateral Link is seeking a debt finance associate with 2–6 years of experience to join a top Am Law 25 firm. The ideal candidate will advise banks and private credit lenders, as well as PE sponsors and corporate borrowers, on leveraged and acquisition financings.

The group regularly handles LBOs, platform acquisitions, and other complex debt transactions across offices. The environment is sophisticated with meaningful client exposure, strong mentoring, and high potential for long-term partnership

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience as a debt finance associate.
• Experience advising banks and private credit/direct lending institutions.
• Experience advising private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on leveraged and acquisition financings.
• Represent target companies of private equity sponsors in LBOs and platform acquisitions.
• Top-tier or large firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise banks, private lenders, PE sponsors and borrowers on leveraged and acquisition financings.
• Represent target companies in leveraged buyouts and platform acquisitions.
• Collaborate across offices on complex debt transactions and client matters.
• Contribute to mentoring and long-term partnership prospects.
