Job summary

BBVA in New York is seeking an Analyst to support the US Corporate Debt Advisory team. You will assist in financial modeling, create client pitches, and help prepare pitch books across corporates and debt/equity financing options.

The role requires strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, English fluency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. SIE/Series 79 must be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in economics, accounting, finance, math, engineering or related field.
• Experience with financial models is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate financial models to project statements and key credit metrics.
• Identify and synthesize industry research.
• Prepare marketing materials for client pitches.
• Maintain and improve analytical tools and templates.
• Data management and documentation of analyses.
• Collaborate with Corporate Lending and Debt Capital Markets on pitch books.
