Job summary

JEVS Human Services seeks a Dean to lead Orleans Technical College, directing academic quality, enrollment growth, and workforce partnerships. The Dean will ensure regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and sustainability while advancing the organization’s mission to expand economic opportunity.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least seven years’ leadership experience in education or workforce development, with strong stakeholder engagement and financial stewardship.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Workforce Development, or a related field.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in education, workforce development, or similar institutions.
• Experience managing budgets, strategic planning, and program outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement academic policies ensuring accreditation standards.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Orleans Technical College.
• Oversee daily operations: academics, admissions, career services, financial services, facilities, quality assurance.
• Lead enrollment growth through marketing, recruitment, admissions, and student financial services.
• Align academic programs with labor market demand and industry standards.
• Manage annual operating budget and long-term financial plans.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and regulatory frameworks.
• Build partnerships with employers, unions, workforce boards, community organizations, and government partners.
• Develop and launch new training programs aligned with regional labor market needs.
• Represent OTC and JEVS in workforce partnerships and community initiatives.
