Job summary

Great Hearts Academies is seeking a Dean of Students for Archway Scottsdale to foster a safe, engaged school culture and support student success. The role involves collaboration with families, teachers, and administrators, and leadership in behavioral interventions and student leadership initiatives.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a liberal arts context with exposure to Great Books education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree at minimum.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience or equivalent in the field.
• Preference for experience in a liberal arts environment or Great Books curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, orderly school environment and conduct standards.
• Serve as liaison among families, students, faculty, and staff.
• Intervene to improve behavior, engagement, and confidence.
• Oversee discipline processes and school-wide programs.
• Support teachers with classroom management tools.
• Assist with school events and professional development.
