Touro University in New York seeks a Dean of Clinical Education to lead the college's clinical education program, overseeing the 3rd- and 4th-year curriculum, clinical rotations, and externships. The Dean will work with students, faculty, department chairs, and clinical partners to continuously improve the clinical learning environment and outcomes.

Competenze

• Requires DPM from an accredited institution.
• Post-doctoral training or residency preferred.
• 3–5 years of academic administration, clinical education, healthcare leadership, or related field expected.
• Experience with medical students, faculty, and clinical education programs preferred.
• Board certification by ABFAS and/or ABPM required.

Mansioni

• Provide leadership and oversight of the College's clinical education program.
• Oversee the 3rd- and 4th-year curriculum, including clinical rotations and externships.
• Participate in curriculum development, review, assessment, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate clinical rotations and externships at affiliated hospitals and sites.
• Counsel and advise students regarding externships and residency opportunities.
• Collaborate with faculty, department chairs, and clinical partners to improve the curriculum and student outcomes.
• Support clinical department chairs and supervise faculty scheduling.
