PUC Schools is seeking a Dean of Academics to lead academic vision and ensure a college-going culture across its Sylmar campus. You will work with administrators to align curricula with state standards and support teachers through coaching and professional development.

The role requires a Master’s degree and administrative credential, with 4+ years of related experience. Strong communication, collaboration, and bilingual Spanish skills are valued as you guide school improvement and student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Administrative credential preferred.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Instructional coaching experience required.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Articulate and communicate a shared vision and mission for student achievement.
• Support building/sustaining a college-going culture focused on scholarliness.
• Ensure staff and students demonstrate values aligned to the vision and mission.
• Develop and implement teacher leadership teams; set performance expectations.
• Implement the teacher evaluation system with quality observations and coaching.
• Design and facilitate professional development aligned to growth goals.
• Support collaborative learning and targeted interventions to reduce the achievement gap.
