Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a Dean of Academic Progress to support the School Leader and Leadership Team with systems related to high school matriculation and graduation. The Dean advances a culture of achievement and college readiness by guiding transcripts, graduation planning, and attendance monitoring.

The role requires a proactive leader who is organized, collaborative with families, and accountable for meeting academic and culture-related goals across campuses in Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least two years' experience as a lead teacher/teacher of record in middle or high school.
• Experience helping students and families navigate college admission, financial aid, and scholarship applications.
• Demonstrated strong achievement results and documented growth, required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registration, enrollment, withdrawal, and transfer of students and manage records.
• Verify accuracy of registration packets and determine eligibility for enrollment.
• Enter campus student information into the district information system and communicate with administrators.
• Coordinate attendance processes and maintain campus-wide compliance and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain coherent transcripts for college and career readiness.
• Monitor academic progress and intervene with students facing challenges.
