Job summary

Calbright College seeks a Dean of Academic Excellence & Effectiveness to lead the college's academic quality, institutional effectiveness, and accreditation readiness. You will partner with the VP of Learning and Instruction and senior leaders to strengthen program quality, equity, and student success across online and on-site settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, administration, policy, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in higher education administration with demonstrated leadership in institutional effectiveness, accreditation, academic quality, and/or strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience leading accreditation processes and serving as a liaison to regional or national accrediting agencies.
• Familiarity with online learning environments and quality standards related to distance education.
• Proven track record of cross-functional leadership, project management, and driving institutional initiatives and operational improvement efforts across diverse stakeholder groups in higher education or a related sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead program quality and institutional effectiveness initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic counsel across program quality, accreditation, and college-wide initiatives.
• Serve as the College's primary Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) and manage accreditation cycles.
• Guide cross-divisional teams to embed data-informed decision-making and operational excellence.
• Support external advisory engagement and align programs with workforce needs.
• Oversee project management standards and cross-functional project teams.
