Tarrant County College is seeking a Dean of Business & Industry, Human & Public Services at the Trinity River Campus. The role leads faculty and supports student-centered academic culture, guiding credit and non-credit programs and budget planning.

The Dean partners with VPAA, drives program development, assessment, and faculty appointments while ensuring alignment with college policies and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Three (3) years' full-time teaching experience in a credit curriculum at the post-secondary level.
• Three (3) years' working experience in leadership of curriculum and instruction.
• Three (3) years' experience supervising (e.g., managing, evaluating the performance of others).

Responsibilities

• Advises the Vice President, Academic Affairs regarding students, personnel, or resource management concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensures fiscal responsibility in the development and management of the schedule of classes and resource management in assigned budgets; monitors spending and approves expenditures according to established policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with secondary school partners to coordinate course offerings and other partnership initiatives.
• Collaborates with university partners in support of initiatives such as articulation agreements.
• Directs and manages course schedules and teaching assignments following the College's policies and procedures.
• Supports faculty excellence in instruction to ensure student success.
