Qualifications

• Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university is required.
• Understanding of community college philosophy and student success initiatives.
• Effective leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, selecting, evaluating, mentoring, and supervising faculty and staff.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and the public.
• Administrative and supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of strategic planning and budgeting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective use of technology.
• The ability to build consensus around strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, supervise, and evaluate full-time and adjunct faculty.
• Increase student retention and completion and prepare students for living-wage employment.
• Manage curriculum development and program offerings.
• Oversee division budgets, productivity, and master course schedules.
• Lead dual enrollment partnerships with public schools.
• Coordinate assessment and program review activities for the division.
• Foster relationships with employers and community stakeholders.
• Promote integration of technology into teaching, learning, and student success.
• Travel to off-campus sites as needed.
