Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Dealmaker in Buffalo, NY to drive high-frequency inventory deals with dealer partners. The role emphasizes negotiation, rapid deal closure, and collaboration with internal teams to align with business objectives.

Responsibilities include monitoring unsold auctions, closing live and post-sale offers, and leveraging Salesforce and our data tools to optimize revenue while maintaining profitability. A 3:30 PM-12:00 AM EST schedule is required, with weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ sales or deal making in the automotive industry.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Proven ability to close complex deals with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset for market data and financials.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Lead deal negotiations between buyer and seller dealer partners.
• Evaluate opportunities and determine best sales strategy.
• Use Salesforce, ACV Marketplace, and data tools to identify success.
• Make pricing decisions to balance buyer/seller profitability.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and document activities in CRM.
