Qualifications

• Minimum of several years of automotive service experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Hyundai experience strongly preferred, including EV systems.
• Ability to lead technicians and manage shop workflow.

Diehl Hyundai of Massillon is looking for a skilled, motivated automotive professional to join our team as a Service Shop Foreman. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hyundai technician, EV technician, or team leader who is ready to move into a leadership position while continuing to use their technical expertise.

What You'll Do

As our Shop Foreman, you’ll serve as the technical leader of the service department, working alongside our technicians and management team to keep the shop productive and ensure repairs are completed correctly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor, and assist technicians throughout the shop
• Provide technical guidance on complex diagnostics and repairs
• Assist with Hyundai EV and advanced vehicle diagnostics
• Help technicians troubleshoot challenging repair concerns
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and repair quality
• Perform quality-control inspections as needed
• Help ensure repairs meet Hyundai and dealership standards
• Work closely with Service Advisors and Service Management to keep jobs moving
• Assist with technician training and development
• Promote a positive, productive, team-oriented shop environment
• Maintain high standards for safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Who We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate has:

• Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience
• Hyundai experience strongly preferred
• Hyundai EV or electric vehicle experience preferred
• Previous leadership, team lead, or foreman experience is a plus
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to coach and develop technicians
• A commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

$100,000-$150,000 Earning Potential
