Lithia & Driveway's Dealership Accounting Coordinator at the Fresno location offers an opportunity to support in-store accounting operations and collaborate with the Home Office and APC. You will verify cash handling, reconcile schedules, and audit deals to ensure accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transactional data.
• Ability to work with store operations and internal teams.
• Familiarity with cash handling and IRS paperwork is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily check and credit card deposit.
• Assist in reconciliation of cash sales accounting schedule.
• In coordination with a BM, work with store operations on process changes to keep a reconciled schedule.
• Audit car deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist.
• 2nd line of audit defense before deals are sent to APC.
• Maintain notes of missing or incorrect items in Booked and Pending report.
• Collaborate with variable operations to collect outstanding revenue recognition items.
• Back up F&I Managers for scanning documents into Digital Deal Jacket.
• Review all IRS Form 8300s for processing.
• Assist BM in maintaining reconciled accounting schedules.
• Cross-train on Title & Registration to support other in-store accounting ops functions.
• Meet performance standards of accuracy, timeliness, cure rates, and efficiency.
