Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Dealer Relationship Officer in Solano County to cultivate and manage dealer relationships within Consumer Lending. The role requires onsite work in Santa Rosa with quarterly dealer visits and close collaboration with the Indirect Manager to grow the indirect lending program.

You will train staff on indirect lending, coordinate dealer promotions, and ensure compliance while delivering exceptional service to members and dealers.

Qualifications

• PC proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and loan origination software.
• Thorough knowledge of consumer loan products offered by RCU.
• Knowledge of lending principles, practices, rules, regulations, and sales.
• Knowledge of RCU Auto Services programs including auto brokering and dealer service program.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Arrange weekly dealer visits to discuss and sell RCU loan products, services, build auto brokering relationships and add dealers to Dealer Service program.
• Develop an overall plan for dealers to have a full relationship with Redwood Credit Union and RCU Auto Services including loans, auto sales brokering and service functions.
• Communicate policy, product, and pricing changes with dealers to ensure quality Member service.
• Educate dealers regarding lending decisions to ensure dealer network adheres to RCU policy and procedures.
• Train and educate all staff on the fundamentals of indirect lending and requirements to obtain a loan with RCU.
