Dealer/ Assistant Pit Supervisor

Description:

Pay Rate: $6.31 an hour, plus tips
$22.50 an hour

SUMMARY: To deal a variety of table games in accordance with Treasure Island policies and procedures.

Note: this is NOT Dealer School. It is a position for those experienced in dealing.

Responsibilities:

1. Exchange cash for chips
2. Deal the games (i.e. blackjack, three card poker, pai gow, etc.) efficiently and in accordance with established policies and procedures
3. Provide continuous quality entertainment and service to guests
4. Protect the integrity of the game and table inventory
5. Ensure game integrity and that dealing policies and procedures are followed
6. Promote positive team member and guest relations
7. Operate the table games software
8. Monitor table activity and guest play ensuring compliance with Title 31 guidelines
9. Correct Dealer errors and settle player disputes
10. Evaluate Dealers performance on an ongoing basis
11. Initiate and verify fills and credits for tables
12. Issue comps following established guidelines
13. Assist with Pit Supervisor duties as needed

IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE:
Required:

1. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
2. Previous experience as a Table Games dealer or successful completion of a gaming certification program; and must pass Treasure Island’s audition
3. Must have knowledge of the following games: Bacarrat, Pai Gow, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, and Blackjack
4. High attention to detail and accuracy
5. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
6. Excellent problem-solving skills
7. Above average math skills
