Job summary

Canvas Credit Union in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Dealer Account Representative-Underwriter I to develop and maintain strong relationships with partner dealerships, grow indirect lending penetration, and manage credit risk while driving revenue. You will train dealership personnel on Origence processes, present reports on portfolio trends, and ensure compliance with state and federal rules.

The role requires 1–3 years of indirect lending experience, a two-year degree, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of success in sales and customer service.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Canvas financial products and services.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado driver's license and provide proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships at assigned dealerships, including Owners, GMs, Sales Managers, F&I Directors and the business office.
• Identify specific sales and account management strategies for each account and document them.
• Directly support strategic initiatives set by senior leadership and the executive team.
• Regularly exercise independent judgment on matters of significance related to dealer relationships and sales.
• Communicate dealership needs and ways to grow product penetration and yield; resolve dealer questions promptly.
• Understand Origence systems and train dealerships’ personnel on processes, rates, and lending guidelines.
