Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Casino Table Games Dealer in Jamul, CA to deliver friendly customer service while handling chips, cards, and bets with precision. You will follow game procedures, manage wagers, and ensure security and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires quick math, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to earn and maintain TiPS certification, plus the ability to obtain a gaming license. Experience in customer service and dealer training are valued assets.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must successfully complete dealer training or have previous casino dealing experience.
  • Must be fast and accurate in handling cash.
  • Six months experience in customer service field preferred.
  • Must be able to audition displaying adequate Table Games Dealing skills.
  • Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
  • Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.

  • Observe or receive wagers from guests and take or pay the appropriate game outcomes.
  • Maintain game security and protect company assets at all times.
  • Assist guests in understanding the rules and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Pay winning bets and collect losing bets.
  • May deal in gaming tournaments
  • Notify Table Games Leadership immediately of any irregularities or any customer requests which are outside of a Table Games Dealer's authority or knowledge.
  • Provide guests with information on how to play the game if requested.
  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must successfully complete dealer training or have previous casino dealing experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents In English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by Tribal Government, Federal, State, and local regulations.
