Job summary

48forty-Solutions, LLC is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to support pricing, deal structuring, and approval workflows in a fast-paced commercial environment. You will partner with sales and finance to ensure accurate proposals, terms, and approvals across complex transactions.

The role requires 1–3 years in deal desk or sales operations, financial acumen, and proficiency with Excel, CRM systems, and BI tools. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review pricing requests and manage them through the sales process end-to-end.

Overview

As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will support the commercial organization of a multi-faceted business by ensuring efficient and accurate deal structuring, pricing and approval processes. This role requires a detailed-oriented person with excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support strategic priorities.

What You'll Do

• Review pricing requests and manage them through the sales process end-to-end
• Work with the Commercial team to develop pricing, terms, and conditions for complex transactions.
• Oversee the routing of deals for approval, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Assist with pricing, customer and commercial reporting
• Identify and execute process enhancements to streamline pricing operations.
• Educate sales teams on pricing processes and the use of relevant tools.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as deal cycle time and pricing compliance.
• Work with various departments to resolve deal-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 1-3 years of deal desk, sales operations or similar role
• CRM skills: Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot a plus
• Strong PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI & AI assistants
• Capacity to perform at a high level in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
• Price modeling experience a plus
