Job summary

ANI Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development & Licensing (BD&L) to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic transactions expanding the rare disease pipeline and commercial footprint. The role blends science, finance, and strategy, including board-level presentations and term-sheet structuring.

The ideal candidate has a strong transactional background in biotech/pharma, with ability to move deals from first contact to close.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in business development, licensing, investment banking, or corporate development in biotech or specialty pharma.
• Proven track record in in-licensing, acquisitions, or collaborations from term sheet through close.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA/PhD/MD).
• Travel 30–40% including domestic and international conferences.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source licensing and acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
• Lead scientific, commercial, and financial screening with target profiles and investment rationales.
• Structure term sheets, LOIs, licensing agreements, and asset deals; coordinate due diligence.
• Present summaries to the C-suite and Board; act as external representative of Ani's strategy.
• Support post-transaction integration and alliance management for key partnerships.
