The Senior Director, Corporate Development & Licensing (BD&L) is a senior individual contributor and deal architect responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic transactions that expand Ani Pharmaceuticals' rare disease pipeline and commercial footprint. This role sits at the intersection of science, finance, and strategy — requiring a professional who is equally comfortable presenting to a Board of Directors, structuring a term sheet, and building relationships.
The ideal candidate brings a strong transactional background — ideally with experience in investment banking, or in-house corporate development at a specialty pharma or biotech — paired with a demonstrated ability to move deals from first contact through close. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership, external partners, and key opinion leaders across rare disease and specialty therapeutics. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office.
The base salary range for this position is$235K-300K; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term and long term incentive program based on performance and company results.
