Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required as per Kentucky law and progression toward GED.
  • Two years of higher education, or an associate degree or higher.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of reading, writing and mathematics readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor individuals or small groups and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with instructional teams and communicate with parents.
  • Transport students to activities and prepare for treatment as required.
  • Prepare and organize lessons, administer tests and assist with English proficiency assessment.
  • Assist in testing, record test results and monitor IEPs.
  • Monitor student behavior and report progress and concerns.
  • Perform clerical duties and maintain classroom records and attendance.
  • Support teachers with setup, AV equipment and supplies distribution.
  • Oversee students in labs and manage supplies inventory.
