Job summary

Responsibilities include advising customers on filtering methods using Cloudflare tools such as Magic Transit, Network Firewall, and WAF, and collaborating with Engineering to refine mitigation steps and product

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical support role.
• Fundamental understanding of how the Internet works (OSI Model).
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/UDP and iptables.
• DNS/SSL/TLS/HTTP troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS) and scripting (Bash/Python/JavaScript).
• Ability to work in a customer-facing, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via chat, email, and phone.
• Analyze traffic signatures and differentiate good vs malicious traffic.
• Advise on filtering malicious traffic using Cloudflare tools and rate limiting.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Operations to mitigate attacks and apply appropriate mitigations.
• Work with Engineering and Product teams to improve tools and processes.
