Job summary

HOUSING ADVOCACY VOCATIONAL AND EMPLOYMENT (HAVE) is seeking a dedicated DDA RN to join our team in Easton, MD. This role delivers expert nursing care and health oversight for individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting advocacy-driven, person-centered support and community inclusion.

You will develop and monitor individualized health care plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and external providers, administer medications, train DSPs on health protocols, and conduct routine

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland
• IDD experience preferred
• Knowledge of Maryland DDA regulations and COMAR healthcare standards
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to train and mentor DSPs on health and safety protocols
• CPR/First Aid certification required or to be obtained upon hire
• Compassionate, patient, advocacy-focused approach to care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to individuals with developmental disabilities (DDA population)

• Ability to train and mentor direct care staff on health and safety protocols


• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
