Job summary
Linde plc in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Process Technician to monitor and optimize plant operations, using DCS/PLC controls and robust instrumentation. You will execute start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures, perform routine inspections on compressors, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, and gas storage systems, and maintain logs and handovers.
Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Process Technology or Engineering and at least three years in industrial manufacturing or gas processing,
Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in Process Technology or engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years in industrial manufacturing, gas processing, or petrochemical environment
- Knowledge of DCS/PLC controls and plant instrumentation
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and procedures
- Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize plant operations using DCS/PLC controls
- Track operating parameters, alarms, and plant performance for safety and reliability
- Execute start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures
- Inspect equipment such as compressors, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, and gas storage systems
- Maintain accurate operating logs, inspection records, and shift reports
- Communicate plant status during shift handovers and collaborate across teams
