Job summary

Linde Inc. in Ashtabula, OH is seeking an experienced Plant Operations & Maintenance professional to ensure safe, reliable operation of an atmospheric gas production plant.

You will troubleshoot field site issues and operate with minimal supervision while upholding safety, quality, and compliance standards. The role involves routine maintenance and calibration of compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems, coordinating with contractors, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2–5 years of operations experience in air separation or similar process control environments.
• Expertise in instrumentation, control, and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and procedural adherence in troubleshooting and repair work.
• Understanding of process control schematics; proficient with computers and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of an atmospheric gas producing plant.
• Solve field site issues while maintaining and operating an air separation plant with minimal supervision.
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at designated plant location.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems.
• Manage time effectively to complete operations and maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting.
• Assist contractors and utilize resources to support plant activities, audits, and on-site safety/permitting.
