Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to implement sourcing plans, manage supplier performance, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements. You will lead RFx processes and develop long-term sourcing strategies in a dynamic data center infrastructure context.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, plus practical supply chain experience. Strong MS Office skills and SAP familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Supply chain experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Team player with change-agent mindset and quick learning.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Responsibilities

• Implement sourcing plans to assure quality, delivery times, and minimize cost.
• Document performance of action plans and timelines for assigned sourcing projects.
• Conduct RFIs, RFQ, RFP, and bidding processes to maximize value.
• Develop medium- and long-term sourcing strategies to assure quality and delivery while minimizing total cost of ownership.
• Perform upstream market analysis for related commodities.
• Assess risks and identify mitigation plans for the category portfolio.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to meet objectives.
• Coordinate contract negotiation with Sourcing Manager and Contract Specialists.
• Drive parts and process qualification with Supplier Quality teams.
• Collaborate with sourcing leadership to guarantee supply for portfolios.
• Identify opportunities to reduce wasted time, money, and resources.
• Interacts with sourcing manager, product quality, manufacturing engineering, and design/product engineers.
• Comply with Schlumberger and local procedures.
