Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial in Houston, TX is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for the DCN project team. You will manage supplier quality activities, approve project-specific QA documents, and coordinate inspections with vendors, ensuring ASME/Welding, NDE, and client specs are met.

You will drive supplier audits, review WPS/PQRs, and support cross-functional teams in Engineering, Supply Chain and Project Management to deliver compliant, high-quality fabrications for packaged process units.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the design and fabrication requirements of packaged process units.
• Able to read fabrication drawings for pressure vessels, piping, and structural fabrications.
• Knowledge of ASME and AWS welding requirements.
• Knowledge of inspection and NDE requirements.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review and approval of project specific Supplier Quality and manufacturing documents
• Track, manage and resolve project nonconformities
• Ensure Client Quality requirements are met as set forth in Client Specifications
• Inspect or support assigned inspectors to ensure pressure vessels, equipment, piping and structural fabrications are to code and project requirements
• Coordinate with Vendor & TPI for the predefined inspection, witness and hold points per project ITPs
• Review of the final documentation package approved
• Perform Supplier Audits
• Undertaking training as required
• Working with global Quality teams
