Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead network operations, dispatch, and major incidents from Orlando. The role emphasizes routing, switching (Cisco IOS/Nexus), and F5 load balancers to deliver high availability for complex environments.

The incumbent will mentor onsite engineers, collaborate with Operations Engineering and providers, and contribute to operational procedures while supporting 24x7x365 coverage.

Qualifications

• CCNP required; CCIE preferred; F5-CTS LTM certification or advanced F5 experience.
• 5 years' progressive data communications experience in WAN/MAN/LAN/Data Center operations and 24x7x365 support in a lead role.
• 5 years' experience in day-to-day support of enterprise-scale, complex network environments in a lead role.
• 3 years' experience with advanced knowledge of load-balancers and other network technologies (F5 certs preferred).
• Knowledge of major routing protocols like RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, RMTP, OSPF.
• 3 years' experience with data communications test equipment and network management systems (e.g., Wireshark, OPNET, NetScout, Nagios, OpenView, etc.).
• SD-WAN experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the Network Operations Strategy.
• Ensure new network services are designed for required availability and validate service designs for operations.
• Lead onsite engineers and manage dispatch/on-call duties.
